VIOLATING PEACE
A young soldier is torn between military loyalty and his own moral code in this fictional, interactive narrative based on powerful real life testimonials. Violating Peace is an ambitious interactive branching narrative project that focuses on the sensitive issue of UN peacekeepers who engaging in sexual abuse and exploitation of local populations where they are billeted. Commission by the United Nations themselves for use in their peacekeeper training centres, the piece was created collaboratively with military psychologists working within the environments in which the film is set. The 360 filmic experience takes audiences on a narrative journey that they are able to influence at 3 key decision points. Based on the decisions they make, the story branches to finally reach very different potential conclusions.
